The recreation
ground at Bayton is administered by the Village Hall committee and with
the aid of a Doorstep Greens grant has been rebuit following a parish
wide consultation.
New facilities include a hard
play area for skateboards and cycle training, there's low level access
lighting, five-a-side football pitch, wood carvings and willow shelter
as well as new paths, wild flowers and shubs with new seats. A purpose
built barbeque is also planned.
The recreation ground
is between the village hall and church and apart from recreation will
provide a venue for bigger village outdoor events such as the Church
Fete.
